What cookies Bible Unboxing uses, and the choices you have.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website to help it function or to remember information about your visit.
Bible Unboxing is a static site with no accounts or shopping cart, so we don't set any strictly-necessary cookies of our own beyond a small local preference (not a cookie) that remembers your Accept/Decline choice. The one third-party tool we use is Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors find and use the Site — for example, which pages are popular, roughly how long people stay, and what device or browser they used.
Google Analytics only runs, and its cookies are only set, after you click Accept on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you click Decline, or don't respond, Google Analytics stays off and none of its cookies are set. The cookies it uses when active are typically named _ga and _ga_<container-id>, and are used to distinguish visitors and remember your session; they generally last from 24 hours up to 2 years, depending on the specific cookie. See Google's Cookies policy for the full, current list of cookies Google Analytics may set.
You can change your Accept/Decline choice at any time by clicking the button below, which reopens the cookie banner:
Most browsers also let you view, delete, and block cookies directly through their settings, independent of the choice you make here.
We'll update this page whenever our cookie use changes. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
